Do Kyeong

Do Kyeong (DK) Lee, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor, Department of Kinesiology

Research Interests:

Dr. Lee’s research focuses on identifying the appropriate intensity and motivation strategies for infants with neuromuscular disabilities.  Dr. Lee also designs and implements interventions in physical therapy settings to improve the quality of life and health of disabled children and to reduce healthcare costs.

Current Project:

Dr. Lee explores the types of physical activities during play with infants and toddlers. She also investigates caregivers’ emotions conveyed in their gestures on infants’ physical activity.  Dr. Lee is quantifying spontaneous physical activity during the 1st year of life.
