What Makes CSUF Unique

OUR COMMUNITY

A diverse community. Each cohort in the CSUF MPH Program is kept to less than 30 students in order to develop a safe and dynamic learning community where diversity is our strength. Over a third of our students are first-generation college students, with more than half from traditionally underrepresented groups, with a substantial number of international students. At CSUF, learning from and about others from different backgrounds helps us learn more about ourselves and become better public health professionals.

A student-focused community. Small cohorts allow for a student-centered experience. Our students receive individualized attention from faculty who are focused on student learning and success inside and outside the classroom. Numerous growths and learning opportunities are available for students to bring students closer to their goals and ambitions.

OUR PROGRAM

The MPH curricular program at CSUF is a comprehensive, rigorous course of training designed to prepare students to meet current and future public health challenges. Students receive training across multiple domains, including data and analysis, health systems, planning and management, public health policy, and leadership. MPH graduates are highly skilled, creative, and determined practitioners who will continue to effectively address emerging public health issues throughout their careers.

FINANCIAL ACCESSIBILITY

High quality training should be accessible to all, and the future public health professionals should not be burdened with financial debt. At CSUF, we provide a dynamic and rigorous learning experience at an affordable price.
