Academics
For students entering Fall 2024, each student completes a core curriculum and chooses electives from one of two emphases: Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety, and Health Promotion and Disease Prevention. The MPH curriculum is made up of 9 core courses, three electives, and 120 hours of internship. During their last semester, students complete an integrative learning experience to demonstrate mastery of program competencies.

Redesigned MPH Program
Beginning Fall 2025, all students complete the first year Titan MPH experience, an innovative and applied suite of courses that integrates the Council on Education for Public Health foundational competencies. This singular curriculum includes coursework in evidence-based approaches to public health, public health and health care systems, planning and management to promote health, policy in public health, communications and systems thinking.
During their second-year, students will receive in-depth training in one of 3 concentrations: community health promotion, epidemiology, and environmental and occupational health and safety. They will also complete a 120-hour internship and a field-based integrative learning experience.
