Steve Hanson Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 2023 to honor the life and contributions of Mr. Steve Hanson. Mr. Steve Hanson was an energetic, focused, and positive Sales Safety Professional that was always happy to help others. Steve served in the U.S. Coast Guard for four years and eventually continued his education while building a successful business that he managed for over 30 years. Steve suffered a tragic health condition in 2023, and in honor of his life and legacy in the safety field, Ernesto Solorzano, owner of EMS Safety Solutions, will grant a scholarship on behalf of Steve Hanson and his legacy. The scholarship will be awarded to a student who emulates the passion, dedication, and focuses that Steve Hanson had toward his family, education, and career.

The department is privileged to have worked with Mr. Hanson. We celebrate his life and legacy, as well as the dedicated and talented students who receive scholarship in his name!
