Biosketch:
Dr. Sherman joined the faculty in the Department of Kinesiology in 1998. He received a B.A. in Psychology (1987, CSU Northridge), an M.A. in Physical Education (1994, San Diego State University), and a Ph.D. in Exercise and Sport Science (1998, University of Utah). His current interests center around teacher and paraprofessional preparation for physical activity instruction. He has published in physical education, coaching, and sport psychology journals. He spends his leisure time with family and friends around lakes, rivers, and oceans.
