Bienestar Social Work with Latinx Certificate Program

The Bienestar Social Work with Latinx Certificate provides MSW students with specialized training to serve Latinx individuals, families, and communities. The program strengthens bilingual and bicultural clinical skills and prepares students for culturally responsive practice in Latinx-serving agencies. Through coursework and field experiences, students learn to address the unique strengths and needs within diverse Latinx populations. This certificate supports students committed to advancing equity and culturally grounded social work.

Pupil Personnel Services Credential

The Pupil Personnel Services credential (PPSc) at CSUF’s MSW program prepares social workers to support students in K-12 schools through social, emotional, and academic interventions. This credential emphasizes creating equitable school environments, strengthening student well-being, and removing barriers to learning. Coursework and field practicum are focused in school settings, and students complete electives in school social work and child welfare & attendance. Graduates are qualified to provide specialized support within California public school systems.
