Welcome! Here you will find information about being a faculty member at California State University Fullerton (CSUF), a campus of over 35,000 students in Orange County, California celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2007-08.
CSUF has a diverse student body that is increasingly reflective of the region's population. We are the #1 university in California (and 4th nationally) in awarding undergraduate degrees to Hispanics (source) and #1 in the number of new transfers from community colleges among California universities (source).
Now is a great time to join the faculty at CSU Fullerton as we experience unprecedented growth with 100 new tenure-track hires anticipated each year through 2010. Efforts are being made to identify prospective faculty committed to the goal of "Ensur[ing] that students of varying age, ethnicity, culture, academic experience, and economic circumstances are well served" in "an environment where learning and the creation of knowledge are central" (University Goals & Strategies, V.B. & I.A.). These new faculty will in large part help to shape the future development of the university well into the 21st-century!
