Support Student Cadets at Cal State Fullerton!

The Roy Lopez Scholarship for Valor

Established in 2014, the Roy Lopez Scholarship for Valor is open to all Military Science cadets at
California State University Fullerton in their Junior or Senior Year. Cadets must overcome a wide
range of personal, academic, or physical hardships on the way towards becoming an Army Officer.
The scholarship was established by Adriana Mraz and family in memory of CSUF Titan Battalion
cadet Roy Anthony Lopez, to provide assistance needed to complete their academic goals.

The Roy Lopez scholarships are granted through the University’s Army ROTC Titan Battalion, an award-winning squadron that has commissioned nearly 300 cadets as second lieutenants in the active-duty Army, the Army National Guard, and the Army Reserve.

Give today and join us in supporting the student cadets of the Titan Battalion! For questions and additional information—including information for student veterans interested in applying for the scholarship—please contact Carlos Leija – Associate Vice President 657-278-4869.

"I am sincerely grateful and honored to be a recipient of the Roy Lopez Scholarship.Through the years in the ROTC program, I adopted the philosophy of ensuring my unit, Company Platoon, and ROTC program are in better standing than when I arrived.  Receiving the Roy Lopez Scholarship is very meaningful because it has taught me the dedication it takes to make a positive impact on the program. Just as Cadet Roy’s Legacy continues to make an impact on developing Cadets into future leaders of the Army."
