Exercise Science

 

The Exercise Science concentration provides knowledge and practical experience supporting careers in exercise science and research and prepares for advanced study in exercise physiology, biomechanics, and motor control and learning.

 

Required Courses (12 units):

KNES 453 Clinical Exercise Physiology or KNES 456 Environmental Exercise Physiology
KNES 461 Biomechanical Analysis of Human Movement
KNES 471 Motor Control and Movement Dysfunction
KNES 495 Internship in Kinesiology or KNES 499 Independent Study

Elective Courses (9 units):

Choose three courses from the following: KNES 320, 351, 354, 364, 450, 451, 453, 454, 455, 456, 457, 458, 463, 470, 495, 499.
