Pre-Allied Health Concentration

The Pre-Allied Health concentration provides advanced scientific background and applied knowledge for Kinesiology majors who are interested in entering advanced graduate degree programs in Athletic Training, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant, or other allied health fields. This concentration also allows the student to meet some of the prerequisite requirements for advanced graduate allied health degree programs.  Since each graduate degree program has unique prerequisite requirements, it is highly recommended for students to seek academic advising prior to declaring this concentration.

All students who wish to declare the Pre-Allied Health concentration must complete the application below. The deadlines for Fall and Spring semester applications are indicated on the application form.  Please note that students are evaluated and admitted only for the semester in which they apply.  If a student is unable to begin their studies that semester, they will need to reapply for a future semester by submitting a new admission application.

To be considered for the Pre-Allied Health Concentration, students must submit an application
