  • Be coached to be more active
    • We are currently seeking individuals who want to increase their physical activity level. As part of their class work, students are learning how to coach someone to become more physically active.  Participation in this research project will involve meeting with your coach 5 times throughout the semester.

  • From the Workplace to the Home: An Employee Wellness Program Targeting Families
    • In this study we are examining the effects of a family-based physical activity intervention delivered via email to faculty and staff at CSFU and their 8-14 year old children
  • Social Media Use and Physical Activity

    • In this study, we are examining communications about physical activity that is done over social media sites such as Facebook, twitter and Instagram. We are looking at the reasons for the sharing of physical activity and reasons for not sharing.

Collaborating with other researchers:

  • Active Playtime – a physical activity intervention for preschool families
  • Stay Well At Home – A multifactorial fall risk prevention program conducted with in the home with peer facilitators
