Kinesiology and Health Science KHP Departmental Scholarship

The Department of Kinesiology and Health Science offers multiple scholarships to its majors. Both undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply.

Amount: $500

Application process: Complete first page of the CSUF Scholarship and Award Application found in the CSUF Scholarship and Award Bulletin available in KHP Division office, P-134. Attach a typed resume which addresses the "qualification" items on page 2 of the CSUF Scholarship and Award Application form.

Criteria include: Scholarship achievement (minimum 3.0 GPA for undergraduate and 3.2 for graduates), community/university service and/or professional experience/promise. Undergraduate applications should have completed at least 15 units in KHP course work; graduates at least 6 units towards their degree.

The scholarship is awarded annually to at least (3) continuing undergraduate majors in the Division of Kinesiology and Health Science.

Kinesiology and Health Science Outstanding Student Award

Amount: $300

Open to: By faculty nomination only

Criteria include: Outstanding academic achievement, community/university service and/or professional contributions.

Awarded annually to at least one graduating undergraduate and one graduate student in the Division of Kinesiology and Health Science in recognition of their outstanding record and professional promise.
