Anthony DiStefano, Ph.D., MPH is currently an associate professor in the Department of Health Science at California State University, Fullerton, where he teaches courses on HIV, research methods, and epidemiology. Dr. DiStefano conducts international and domestic research on HIV, other sexually transmitted infections, and violence/abuse. He uses a social science of medicine approach that involves primarily ethnographic methods informed by epidemiology.
