Biosketch:
Jordan Keith Aquino, MPH, is Full-time Lecturer in Public Health Practice in the Department of Health Science, and Director of the Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain Center at California State University, Fullerton. His research focuses on exploring the physical and cognitive statuses of older adults living with and without a chronic pain condition (i.e., fibromyalgia); he is also interested in  substance misuse/abuse and LGBTQ issues. Mr. Aquino has served as Co-Investigator and Project Director of a 10-year longitudinal study having trained and worked with over 200 undergraduate and graduate students across multiple disciplines. Mr. Aquino has previously worked as Research & Program Manager for the National Fibromyalgia Association, a non-profit organization, a Clinical Research Coordinator Assistant at Apex Research Institute, and served on the Editorial Staff for the Californian Journal of Health Promotion. Mr. Aquino received his BS in Health Science (minor in Chemistry) and MPH in Health Promotion/Disease Prevention both from California State University, Fullerton. He was also a Visiting Scholar at Chiang Mai University, Chiang Mai (2008 MHIRT program), Thailand; the University of California, Los Angeles Fielding School of Public Health (2011-2012 MTPCCR program); and the University of Michigan School of Medicine, Chronic Pain & Fatigue Research Center (2012-2013 CSU Sally Casanova Pre-Doctoral program).
