Group Advising is an opportunity for students seeking quick answers from an advisor.
If you answered yes to any of the questions above; then attending a group advisement session is your chance to address any of your concerns.
Duration: 1 hour
During this time, you and the major advisor and the graduation specialist will review the Degree Requirements to ensure you are set to graduate. Not only will we check for the 120 Units, but also review Graduate School opportunities, articulate the importance of the Liberal Education you have earned here at CSUF to help in future job interviews and discuss commencement.
At 85 earned units, you will receive a message on the 'To Do List' in your Student Center indicating that you need to apply for graduation. If you will be ready to graduate in the following 1-2 semesters then apply via the Student Portal. Once you have applied, you will be placed on a query list and the following month you will be invited to attend a Live Grad Check via email. Please pick a date and attend the Live Grad Check at least one semester prior to your intended graduation semester.
By participating in this unique opportunity before registration, if necessary requirements are not satisfied, you will have plenty of time to take action.
Required: Bring a Current copy of your TDA to the Live Grad Check
Duration: 1.5 hours
