Academic Notice
I'M ON ACADEMIC NOTICE, WHAT ARE MY NEXT STEPS?
- Students that are placed on Academic Notice for the first time are required to complete the RESET course and must meet with their Major Advisor.
- Students that are on Continued Notice are required to complete the RESET course. It is highly recommended they meet with their Major Advisor but not required.
HOW DO I ACCESS THE RESET COURSE IN CANVAS?
- Students should check their email for an invitation to participate in RESET course.
- Students must accept the RESET course invitation to view modules.
HOW DO I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH MY MAJOR ADVISOR?

IMPORTANT: A registration hold will only be placed on a student's account if they have not completed the RESET course by the deadline indicated within the course.
What can I do to have my hold removed?
The College of Health and Human Development is here to support your educational journey. Please follow the steps below.
Step 1) Complete the Academic Notice - RESET course
This course will address policies related to Academic Notice and provide actions you can take now to regain Good Academic standing. Your hold will not be removed until all of the RESET course is completed.
Step 2) Contact your Major Advisor
Make sure to do Step 1! Please see above for who to contact.
