Academic Probation & Disqualification

Procedures/Actions

In compliance with University Policy 300.002, a REGISTRATION HOLD will be placed on all Cal State Fullerton students on academic probation and you are required to complete the following steps to have the hold removed.  Not completing the following steps can cause a delay in your registration for the following semester.

What can I do to have my hold removed?
The College of Health and Human development is here to support your educational journey. 

Step 1) Complete the appropriate Mandatory Probation Tutorial.  This tutorial will address polices related to Academic Probation and provide actions you can take now to regain Good Academic standing.

Academic Probation Tutorial for First Time Freshmen
This tutorial is designed for students who were admitted as a freshman at CSUF, and have been placed on Academic Probation after their very first semester.

Academic Probation Tutorial for Transfer Students
This tutorial is designed for students who were admitted as a transfer student at CSUF, and have been placed on Academic Probation.

Academic Probation Tutorial for ALL other students
This tutorial is designed for students who were originally admitted as a freshman at CSUF, and have been placed on Academic Probation after any given semester.

Step 2) You will be contacted via your student email address and MUST meet with the Retention Specialist or Major Advisor.
