Success in school is a major predictor of health and socioeconomic success. For many school age children in Orange County, language barriers, financial constraints, and family obligations keep academic success out of reach.
The CSUF Center for Healthy Neighborhoods free after-school tutoring and mentoring program provides homework help and academic support to 100 local elementary, middle, and high school students. With time, support, and instruction that focuses on their unique needs, these students can meet—and surpass—academic standards.
Give to the CSUF Center for Healthy Neighborhoods and help local disadvantaged children succeed in school! Bring a $20 gift card to one of HHD’s collection boxes in the Education Classroom and Kinesiology & Health Sciences buildings or make a donation online. Gift cards will be accepted through December 6.
